Bhanuka Rajapaksa stayed unbeaten on 25*(18) and Lahore were asked to chase 172 in their 20 overs.

The chase didn’t start well as Fakhar Zaman(↓1%) was sent back to the pavilion for just 6 runs. Ahsan Bhatti smashed one six and two fours but then, he and Abdullah Shafique got out in quick succession. The Qalandars were struggling at 69 for 3 in 8.2 overs. But, a 50-run partnership off 28 balls between Tahir Baig and Sam Billings changed the game. The former got 54 off 42 while the latter scored 28 off 21. Sikandar Raza’s(↑4%) cameo of 23(14) saw Qalandars home as Shaheen Shah Afridi(↑9%) finished with a four and a six.

Peshawar were 104 for 1 in the 12th over and they were looking set for a score of around 190. But as Babar Azam(↓2%) fell, they could only score 67 runs in the last 51 balls. That’s why they ended around 20 runs short.
