Lahore Qalandars 148 all out (Raza 71(↑54%), Rauf 3/22) beat Quetta Gladiators 131 for 7 (Smeed 32, Nawaz 2/19) by 17 runs.

 

The Gladiators opted to bat first after winning the toss on Thursday. Lahore Qalandars had a horror start to their innings as they lost their 7 wickets at the score of 50. It looked like they had already lost the contest before Sikandar Raza(↑54%) played a miraculous innings. He single-handedly carried his team to 148 runs with a 34-ball 71. Naveen ul Haq and Mohammad Nawaz bagged 2 wickets each.

In contrast, Quetta started their innings on a high. They reached the score of 53 for the loss of one wicket at the end of the powerplay. Lahore once again looked like losing the game, but another momentum shift followed. The first 4 wickets fell for just 11 runs and took 29 deliveries. From there, the Gladiators could never catch up with the required rate and lost by 17 runs. Haris Rauf picked 3 crucial wickets, while Rashid Khan(↑24%) grabbed 2.

Sikandar Raza(↑54%) earned a price raise of 72.5 SPQs, while Rashid Khan’s(↑24%) value went north by 21.8 SPQs. Martin  Guptil’s(↓13%) slow innings caused his price to drop by 18.4 SPQs. Iftikhar  Ahmed(↓15%) also got a value depreciation of 16 SPQs.
