When the latter was dismissed, the Emirates required 103 runs in 81 balls. Nicholas Pooran came in to join Andre Fletcher(↑117%), and the two Caribbeans batted Dubai Capitals out of the tournament.

The 104-run partnership came in just 61 balls as MI Emirates cruised to an 8-wicket victory with 20 balls to spare. Andre Fletcher(↑117%) scored 68 in 45 balls, while Nicholas Pooran smashed 66 off 36. Dubai Capitals are now out of the competition. Meanwhile, the MI Emirates will play the second eliminator against Gulf Giants on Friday.
