The first four matches in the ILT20 League were pretty one-sided, and fans were waiting to witness some more competitive cricket. Match 5: Dubai Capitals vs. Gulf Giants

The Giants wasted no time in taking the aggressive route. The teenager Rehan Ahmed came out with all guns blazing and raced off to 28 runs in just 17 balls. Mujeeb ur Rahman bowled a double wicket maiden to end the powerplay, and the Gulf Giants team was right back in the game.

Gerhard Erasmus then arrived at the crease to join James Vince. Both the guys batted with supreme authority and slowly took the game away from the Dubai Capitals. The duo stayed together for 59 deliveries and accumulated 107 runs. When Erasmus was dismissed for 52(28), the Giants needed just 33 runs in 26 deliveries.

James Vince batted through to make sure that there was no drama at the end of the innings. He stayed unbeaten on 83, and the Gulf Giants secured their second win in as many matches to get to the top of the points table.
